libdecodeqr-dev software package provides C/C++ library for decoding QR code, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdecodeqr-dev
libdecodeqr-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdecodeqr-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdecodeqr-dev *
You will get with libdecodeqr-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
